Let’s pack away the winter woollies and welcome spring!  Get inspired with these easy ways to energise your wellbeing, starting NOW!

Declutter
Too much ‘stuff’ can be both physically and mentally overwhelming. Pick a room in your home, or even just a drawer, and get rid of all the ‘stuff’ that is broken, unwanted or unused. Bin it or if you think it could be of use to someone else, donate it. You’ll feel lighter and clearer with a little less.

Hydrate
Are you getting your recommended 8-10 cups of water every day? Let the warmer weather serve as a reminder to drink up! And if a plain glass of water feels a little boring, add a few citrus slices, mint leaves or fill up on herbal teas – your insides with thank you!

Boost your greens

Spring brings an abundance of juicy fruits and vegetables. Be brave and get creative! Add a little extra green to your diet every week for the whole season. Think asparagus, baby spinach, cucumber and watercress – YUM!

Connect
Lift your emotional health by connecting with others. Call a friend for a walk n talk catch up, get the family over for a backyard BBQ or sign up for a group activity.

Clean up your act

Ditch the chemicals and make your own all-purpose cleaning spray for around your home. Here’s how: Pour ½ cup white vinegar in a spray bottle and add 2 tablespoons of baking soda. Pop in a few drops of essential oil (lemon or orange work well) and then fill the bottle to the top with water. Give it a good shake and let it settle before using. Perfect for kitchen counters, stainless steel and porcelain.

Get out

Shake off winter by getting out into nature! Breathe deep and move your body. Promise your dog a daily walk around the block, head to the park for a weekend picnic or get out of town for an invigorating bushwalk.

Spruce up your lungs
While we love the warm spring air (goodbye winter coats!) it does carry more pollens and allergens than usual, and that can be bad news for the lungs. Pop in for a relaxing salt therapy session to spruce up the lungs. The tiny salt particles dispersed in the salt room act as a gentle scrubbing brush for the whole respiratory system. After just one session you’ll be breathing easy and feeling great!
